I have finished my tank! Here are the pics:

The front

The back. Note the glaring error on the back – no ribbing on the neckline. I noticed this when I was about to try it on. Arg.

All in all, not bad for my first knitting project. It came out just a bit too big for me, but I know someone who will fill it out well and hopefully she will like it.

I now plan to start a blanket with some chunky yarn in purples and greens. Should be pretty!

That’s really lovely Christine! Believe me only you knows it’s a mistake – everyone else will think it’s a fashion statement! Honest! ;o)
    Well done!

Way to go on your knitting happy dance! Looks great 🙂 Knitting is something I just don’t have the patience for (coming from a stitcher, that probably sounds daft LOL), and I really admire people who can do it! I last right through almost the first ball of wool, then it gets thrown to Mum to unpick and knit up!

Congrats on the finish! I’ve tried crocheting and have found my skills abysmal. Purple and green are my favorite colors together, that afghan sounds like it will look great 🙂

That looks great! I think you did fantastic for a first project, I can’t knit to save my life. Can’t wait to see your blanket. 🙂
