Since I don’t have any stitching to show you, I will bore you with other details of my life…. lol!
We had visitors the other day, and I thought I would share. I had to steal Kimber’s camera for this one – it doesn’t take really great photos, but it gets the point across (I already tried to take a photo of the stitching – all I got was a white photo. Auto flash and all that, wot wot.):
Seems there is a racoon family living nearby. I don’t think the cats have discovered them yet, or if they have they are keeping their distance. I hope that keeps up.
Speaking of cats, I realized one other thing I can’t control with them being outside. What they eat. This wouldn’t be such a horrible thing except that Turkey has … a delicate composition. We have can not switch brands of cat food because switching to a new food upsets his stomach. This morning he left a surprise for me in that respect. Yay. At least he is clever enough to not do it on the carpet. Yet.
When you get a project professionally framed do you get glass inserted
into the frame? Why or why not?
This one is easy – I don’t get my peices professionally framed. I do it all myself.
That being said, I don’t like glass on the stitching. I feel it takes away from the piece. However, there are times when it makes sense. If a piece hangs in a home where there are smokers, then glass is necessary just so you aren’t taking it out an washing it every three months.
That’s all I will bore you with today. Don’t worry – I am sure I can come up with something else equally as exciting tomorrow. 😉
