If it weren’t for the SBQ…

Well – it is obvious I have started work since my blog entries have dropped to zero! I apologize – it may take me a while to get back into the groove of things.

Much to discuss today. Let’s start with the Stitching Bloggers Question, as suggested by Sharon:

When you find yourself making a lot of mistakes in various stitching projects do you find it better to muddle your way through or do you take a brief break from stitching? If you do take a break, how long do you take?

Usually I just take a break from the problem child. I will pick up a different, usually simpler project and focus on that instead. I don’t like to muddle through otherwise I continue to make mistakes. I will stay away from the project until I feel the urge to pick it up again.

I got an email yesterday that Renee finally got her needleroll for the Robins Nest exchange. There was a pretty big oops on my part here. I mailed it out VERY late. Fortunately the needleroll is so dazzling beautiful that I am sure Renee has forgiven me completely (you can stop snorting now!). What does it look like? Let me show you!

I am so very happy with this needleroll. The seams lined up, the stitching is fantarific, and the colours I chose are amazing. Have I tooted enough? The design, if you are looking for it, is a freebie from Dragonfly Stitches and Six Strand Sweets. I didn’t use the recommended floss and substituted DMC.

Because of work not much else has been happening. I have been working on Woodland Faerie when I can, but that is slow going. Still, I will try to get a photo for you this weekend.

It’s beautiful! Would like to do it one day, would like it right now but still a few more commitments to make.
    Have a nice weekend.

I love the needleroll Christine… Everyone’s lives get crazy at times so I forgive you for being late. πŸ˜‰
