All done!

It took longer than I wanted, but Egyptian Sampler is all done.

Egyptian Sampler
Designed by Teresa Wentzler
Completed October 6, 2009

I am afraid I don’t know what kind of fabric I used. It is definitely an evenweave, but that is as specific as I can get.

On to the next project! Have a great day!

I know it’s been a while since you completed this, but do you have any idea how many skeins of each colour you used? Very roughly, less than five, more than 10, etc.? I’ve had this pattern for ages and am ready to try it, but it doesn’t give quantities. I live in the middle of nowhere and will have to order my supplies on line, so running out of floss in the middle of a section would really suck.

I really enjoyed your series of posts about your progress with this piece. Thank you for sharing.

Oh my, I have no idea. I know that there were a couple of colours, specifically the tans and browns, that took a lot more than the rest (I’m thinking the DMC420 for sure). I wish I could remember! I do know that since Theresa uses a lot of blended colours it doesn’t use up as much as one would think, I’m certain 1 for most colours would be enough. Have you tried looking up kit contents? You may have some luck that way.
